Hello,
Im fairly new to the Mac world and I recently got my boyfriend's Ibook G4 version 10.4.11 (Tiger?)
I looked up how to reset it to factory default settings and once I did that, every application was gone. Even safari. I have been looking up ways to get it back onto the computer because I cant do anything on it now. I tried using a USB and putting a version of Safari (the .dmg file) that I thought would work on it, but when i try to open it, an error pops up. I dont know what to do. If anyone can help me, please let me know what I have to do. I also do not have the disks that the laptop came with (if any) and Ive read online some need them and some dont. Confusing for a 3rd day timer. Thank you.
